House of Mark is proud to announce the new Ambassador program and its first ever Brand Ambassador Search for Summer/Autumn 2015. We are excited to announce the search is now open to find the next House of Mark Brand Ambassador!
WHO ARE WE?
Launched in 2013, House of Mark is an upscale design atelier based in Los Angeles and best known as the home of the original yarn, macramé and embroidery tassel garlands. It all began when the owner and founder, Salpie Markarian, could not find any custom and high-end décor and accessories for her personal event styling. She reached within her talents to produce and bring her visions to life. With the help of her artistic background (makeup artist and a lover of art), which only made it natural to design creatively and colorfully. Took the plunge and opened House of Mark to share her creations with the world. Since, the House of Mark brand and collections has expanded offering a selection of fabulous decor, home goods, accessories, gifts, stationery, apparel, and many more. The House of Mark team continues to strive to bring joy and fun into your life, home and events through the personalized, custom & one-of-a-kind collections. Each order that leaves the studio is handmade with care, love, and perfection.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for 2 professional photographers/bloggers with children between the ages of newborn to 6 years to join the House of Mark team. Ambassadors must be active & have a larger following (5K+ preferably but not required) on Instagram to promote our brand. Must make a 4-month commitment to promote and share our collections in an organic way by posting high quality, well lit, and a mixture of natural and styled photographs at minimum once a week. Must be 18 years of age.
We look at our Ambassadors as new members of the House of Mark family and expect that before you even approach us that you already have a great passion for our products. On the same note, we like to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with our Ambassadors. Please read through the requirements below to consider your willingness to commit to this type of relationship before applying.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
- You are a loyalist, you are an influencer and most importantly, you are authentic.
- You have the ability to present ideas in a persuasive and honest manner.
- You are polite and have a likeable personality.
- You are active on Instagram and other social platforms.
- You are actively engaged with your demographic.
- You have a blog and/or website where you post regularly.
- You have a passion for photography.
WHAT ARE THE AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITES?
- Must have a public profile and be active (regular posting, commenting, etc.) on Instagram and other social networks.
- Include Brand Ambassador information in social media profile, House of Mark logo and special promotions on your website or blog.
- In addition to the exchange of product we will also ask you for feedback/ideas and offer an option to vote on new product line designs.
- Post and/or repost at minimum once per week using House of Mark hashtags and tagging the brand in photos.
- Photos to include:
* home interior design featuring our home goods,
* party photos featuring our event decors and backdrops , &
* children/adults wearing our apparel and accessories
WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE?
- Exclusive discount codes throughout the 4-month period.
- Features on House of Mark’s website and on our social media platforms.
- Find out about new products and news before anyone else.
- A minimum of $500 worth of merchandise over a 4-month period, as chosen by House of Mark. The same monetary value applies if a family of multiple children is chosen as the winner.
HOW TO APPLY?
- Follow us on Instagram @houseofmarkla.
- Repost our Brand Ambassador image on Instagram, tag with @houseofmarkla and hashtag #REPRESENTHOUSEOFMARK once.
- Post up to three RECENT photos that best show off your child’s personality, home décor, photography skills so we can get to know more about you and tag our shop @houseofmarkla and hashtag #REPRESENTHOUSEOFMARK on each post.
- Click “APPLY HERE” below to fill out and submit the Google form to complete your application.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
* Accepting applications from June 15, 2015 to July 1, 2015, the winner will be announced the week of July 6th via Instagram and email.
* Ambassadorship responsibilities will begin August 2015 until November 2015.
* You must follow the application process above for your entry to be valid.
* Entry image(s) must be recent and uploaded specifically for the House of Mark Ambassador search.
* Open to US and Canada only and PUBLIC PROFILES on all social platforms – please note this is a ‘Brand Ambassador’ search, therefore the winner will be required to publically promote House of Mark via all social media platforms.
* Must be 18 years of age.
* This is not a paid position, this is a product for promotion opportunity.
* The winner is required to post an image to Instagram at least once a week, featuring gifted merchandise from House of Mark. You also give consent to House of Mark to share your images via social media and in marketing tools (website, postcards, etc.).
* The winner will be representing House of Mark for a 4-month period only, unless extended by mutual agreement.
* The winner must not grant permission for other stores/businesses/bloggers to re-post images featuring product gifted by House of Mark without prior consent.
* We reserve the right to terminate the agreement without further notice if the selected Ambassador does not adhere to all the rules stated above.
* The House of Mark brand Ambassador search will be run via Instagram and the application below.
* Your child’s safety is important to us, please do not post nude or inappropriate images.
PLEASE NOTE: We get a large amount of applications and we will not be able to contact everyone who submits an application & will only contact you if we need further information or if you are chosen. Please understand there is no need to email House of Mark to check on your application. If you do not hear from us by July 10, 2015, then you were not chosen for Ambassadorship during this opening, but we encourage you to reapply for our next opening! We would love to accept everyone, but we only have limited amounts of spots. Good luck!
